Program rather than appointments
Ad-hoc appointments produce ad-hoc results. A skin wellness program sets a baseline first, sequences treatment with intervals that allow repair, then reviews with evidence rather than assumption.
- Baseline assessment and a documented plan
- Sequenced treatments with deliberate spacing
- Home care designed to support, not compete with, in-clinic work
- Scheduled reviews where the plan is adjusted
- Seasonal adaptation across the Brisbane year
What "holistic" should mean
It should mean the plan accounts for sleep, sun exposure, hydration, stress and the routine you can realistically keep — because those determine most of the outcome between visits. It should not mean vague claims about wellness in place of clinical reasoning.
In practice the two work together: barrier support and sun protection make in-clinic treatment worth having, and treatment gives a well-supported barrier something to build on.
Why time is part of the method
Skin repairs on its own schedule. Treatments that engage collagen production or resurface the surface layer need recovery intervals, and those intervals are the reason a program spans months rather than weeks. Texture and tone typically take eight to twelve weeks of consistent care to shift; pigment takes longer.
